The Board of Education, operated by the Cadillac Area Public Schools, has more than six members. It conducts public board meetings twice a month. The board has standing and special committees. The Cadillac Area Public Schools operates various educational facilities, such as Cadillac High School, Forest View Elementary, Kenwood Elementary and Mackinaw Trail Middle School. Its schools organize several extracurricular activities, such as band, orchestra and choir. The district s schools also conduct sports events, including foot ball, soccer, baseball and cross-country.
