  Don is the owner and founder of Freedom Physical Therapy. He is a lifetime resident of the Byron Center area and has more than 30 years of experience in the physical therapy profession. Don completed his physical therapy training at Grand Valley State University in 1986. He also holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in physiology. His primary clinical focus has been in the areas of outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine and work-related injuries. Don is actively involved in the Byron Center community including the Byron Center Chamber of Commerce (former board president) and the Byron Community Wellness Foundation (current board member). Don enjoys playing guitar at his local church, spending time in the great outdoors and having fun with his four grandchildren. He and his high school sweetheart, Barb, have been married since 1984.
