You 2 people need to open your eyes. That place is a zoo! Children run around wild and there is no structure and no discipline. Ask the Director about their discipline policy. They don't believe in time out or anything. My child was hurt weekly at that place. It looks nice when you see the classrooms but it is a babysitting place, not a school.

My son has been through the infant program at The Children's Workshop and he thrived. The teachers were attentive and caring and made our family feel special. He is now loving the toddler program and having a great time learning and having fun at school. He does art projects every day, learns to interact with the other children, learns self help skills, and learns his boundaries in a positive way. He even knows sign language and is able to tell us his needs without words. I look forward to the next 5 years as he grows and learns there! The staff is awesome, welcoming, and warm.

I have two children here both of whom have been there for over two years now. My observation is that the teachers are attentive and supportive. They interact well with the children and my children feel safe and cared for. I was a bit less impressed with the preschool classroom which seems too large a group to be as orderly as I would like. My child who progressed to Kindergarten at Bournedale and is now at Peebles elementary was well prepared for elementary school. During 2009 there was an awesome teacher in the afterschool classroom who made a world of difference and the children all adored her. My 5 year old has felt much more comfortable in the smaller size pre-k group and that classroom is very well managed and the teacher is the best. I have found the Director to be easy to communicate with and attentive to my needs. smalltowngirl02532
