Highly disappointed in the Brentwood location. I had a great experience last year with my taxes at the Booksmarts in Brentwood, until this year when a new manager had taken over. There is no personal one- on- one with the accountant. Instead, they take your tax information and tell you within 7-10 days they will call you. 3-4 weeks later and I still have not received a phone call. I have called several times and they are unable to give me an estimate as to when it would be completed. I recommended this location to my father since I had a great experience last year and he also was upset with the service. He had to visit the location to see why it wasn't completed after 5 weeks. Not only did they file it without telling him, they didn't account for certain expenses that he had provided for them. Complete rip-off and poorly managed establishment. You are better off doing your own taxes to get the most of your return.

YES! I just had my taxes done by Booksmarts in Butler. They are awesome! I had my taxes done before by Jackson Hewitt Paid good money and all I got was the standard deduction. In conversation with the person who was doing my taxes he said he was a customer the previous year and that he was asked if he wanted to work during tax season. They gave him a couple hours training on a program and he was doing taxes. He didn't know any more than I did! Bethany at Booksmarts actually has an accounting degree and knows what she is doing. She got me the largest refund I've ever gotten. I highly recommend Booksmarts.
