Provided by YP.comProbably one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Their technician came to my new home to connect us to their service. They said they'd "upgrade" my equipment for free, but I denied them, only to come home and see that they went against my wishes and installed new equipment, they told my wife that the router I had, which was providing me speeds around 20-22mbps would no longer work with the wifi router they installed, but that I shouldn't worry because what they installed would result in better speeds, well that turned out to be a massive lie. I'm now stuck with download speeds of 2-3mbps, even though the advertise speed for my package is "up to" 25mbps. I've yet to see speeds anywhere close to that. Be aware, what they're doing is scamming people by forcing their own home-baked equipment on you that gives them greater control, in which they restrict all sorts of things and then charge you to unlock the potential of the equipment you're already paying for (yes, the equipment they said was "free" actually isn't).
They actually charge you for wifi service, too. Which is absurd considering this costs them nothing on their end, and who I really feel bad for are those on a fixed income who don't really understand that they're being scammed to unlock features built into their equipment.
How these people sleep at night is beyond me. They're one of the scummiest of companies in the nation, and all they do is abuse the monopoly they have on services in my area. I and many others need to write their state representatives and ask them to look into what it is that's limiting service providers in our area, as you hardly ever see this sort of monopolistic control in areas not regulated to the degree that ISP's are through the necessary permitting needed to provide services in our area.

Provided by YP.comOverpriced rip off!!..Raised price of internet service so I had to drop to slower speed..Was getting a whole $1 off if I allowed them to take auto pay every month..Updated my debit card EXP.date and now I lost the $1 discount..They say that auto bill pay is not good with debit card...Funny..I have been paying that way for 5 years!!!!!
As a senior citizen on fixed income I DON'T need companies like Armstrong trying to take what little I get!!
SHAME ON ARMSTRONG!!!

Provided by YP.comI understand many people do not like Armstrong in the area, but I've had good luck with them every time I call. A few months ago we had some technical issues with the on demand, but they kept sending technicians out and were very good about checking up on our situation to ensure everything was still working and that we were satisified. They have sent a technician much faster then Comcast ever did for us (in previous locations that we've lived).

Provided by YP.comI've had Armstrong for over a year now and it's been nothing but problems. I only keep them because they have a monopoly in the area. My only alternative it to affix an ugly dish to my house. Hopefully we'll get Verizon Fios soon!!! If you don't mind the dish. I'd recommend that option in the meantime.
