Came in with a friend for walk-ins. She got her manicure right away, and I had to wait but the staff continued to assure me that someone was coming, which was nice. Maybe 15 minutes later someone got to me, but soon into it, he answered his personal phone while doing my manicure. Plus, there was a few staff in the pedicure chairs eating and chatting, which I thought was rather unprofessional. Both times I have gone I was happy with the product, but the first time I came in was much better than this past time.

After going to the same salon for 9 years, I decided to try Jabooda. I have a wide nail bed and usually have to tell the tech to put more acrylic on the side after it's grown out. Not at Jabooda. They knew how to fix my nails right. And when I went for the first time needing a fill and a fix, they didn't even charge me for the fix!! AND they take $1 off if you pay in cash. $15 for a fill (3 weeks worth) and a fix is great!!

Jabooda used to be fantastic! They changed management 5 months ago and it has gone downhill since then. There is only one decent nail tech and she is still not as good as the prior manager. One of the other girls burnt 7 of my fingers and left all 7 bleeding. One finger took 5 weeks to heal she got it so bad. The new manager has canceled my appt twice now, both times he didn't cancel until after I drove all the way there even though he had my phone number! He is also extremely presumptuous and assures me I will be happy with a specific tech and then I tell him what I want done and then he says he doesn't know if they can do that. I will not be back!!

This was be best place I've ever been to. I just moved to Mt. Vernon and try to find a salon for my nails. Listen to the recomendation of my friends, I came to this place. The experience was great. I love this place, they are very clean. Technicians are nice and skillful at what they do. Great place to get your pedicure.

This is a great new business. Every effort is made to be clean, professional, friendly and accommodating. The nail and pedicure services are top notch. You make an appointment and they respect it! They're really trying to build a repeat clientele and I would urge anyone to try them!
