Jeremy Dressler, MD is a colon and rectal surgeon at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor of surgery at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Dr. Dressler specializes in laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery, robotic colon and rectal surgery, robotic procedures for rectal prolapse, transanal minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy and endoscopic polypectomy, and sacral nerve stimulation for fecal incontinence. His research interests include patient frailty and surgical / cancer outcomes, surgical education and education improvement. Growing up in a small state, Delaware, Dr. Dressler saw the benefit of living and working in a close-knit community. In Vermont, he is excited to be a member of a similar community and build relationships with patients, their families and other providers. Dr. Dressler chose to become a colorectal surgeon because the field is dedicated to advancing care and patient outcomes through the use of technology and other novel approaches to disease management. He is committed to ensuring that his patients receive the highest quality of care in an environment focused on their care goals and overall wellbeing. Dr. Dressler enjoys meeting people, learning more about them and their health, and finding ways to improve their health and quality of life.
