Established in 1992, Alamance Health Care Center offers nursing and emergency services 24 hours a day. It has a rehabilitation department that specializes in stroke recovery, prosthetic training, pain management, postoperative care, and orthopedic and cardiac rehabilitation. Alamance Health Care Center offers medication administration, pharmaceutical management, short-term rehabilitation, long-term and respite care, home discharge planning, social work and consultation services. Its on-site services include dental, optometry, podiatry, and physical, occupational and speech therapies. Additionally, the health care center offers hospice services that include guidance, and grief and spiritual support. Alamance Health Care Center is part of the Medical Facilities of North Carolina and is located in Burlington, N.C.
