The Alamance-Burlington School System is a comprehensive school district serving various counties, including Graham, Elon, Haw River, Green Level and Mebane in North Carolina. The district is located in Burlington, N.C., and was formed in 1996 with the merger of the former Burlington City and Alamance County school systems. It enrolls more than 20,000 students in grades kindergarten through 12 and is one of the leading school systems in North Carolina. The Alamance-Burlington School System includes more than 30 schools, such as a variety of elementary, middle, high and alternative education schools. The district s various schools include Broadview Middle School, Andrews Elementary School and Eastlawn Elementary School.
