Dworshak Elementary School, located in Burley, Idaho, and named after Senator Dworshak, a representative and senator from Idaho, is a public school that is part of Cassia County Joint District. It enrolls more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade three. It prepares students through a flexible education system, which begins their development into well-rounded adults, able to contribute to the community. It provides a safe and nurturing learning environment where students apply problem-solving strategies learned through written, oral and experiential applications in the classroom. The subjects cover core curricular areas, including English, mathematics, social science, science, health and physical education, music and art. Dworshak ElementarySchool encourages all students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as its yearbook, band, student council, and sports, such as basketball, volleyball and softball.
