Cassia County Sheriff is a department of Cassia County in Idaho. It protects and serves the citizens and guests of the county. The department s responsibilities include the enforcement of laws and responding to calls for nonenforcement services. Cassia County Sheriff specializes in active patrolling and security and protection of prisoners. Its staff of more than 45 employees includes patrol deputies, detectives, dispatchers, civil process officers, drivers license personnel, and a school resource officer. The department s deputies are a part of the Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team. Cassia County Sheriff s office maintains a marine division, drug task force, and criminal interdiction and dive rescue teams.
