Founded in 1978, Shamrock Holdings invests in a wide range of domestic and international private equity transactions, marketable securities and real estate. The firm focuses its investment activities on four principal areas: domestic private equity in the media, entertainment and communications industries; real estate in low and moderate income areas of Southern California; private equity in Israel; and activist investments in publicly traded securities. Shamrock has invested more than $2 billion in its various strategies, generating risk-adjusted returns for investors such as Disney. Shamrock currently serves as both the founding investor and sponsor of the following investment funds: Shamrock Capital Growth Fund, Genesis L.A. Real Estate Fund I & II, Shamrock Israel Growth Fund and Shamrock Activist Value Fund.
