Provided by YPmobileI've had the best experience at this GNC inside the Burbank mall. They are always so knowledgeable about all the products including ingredient lists especially with all my allergies. Great recommendations and they'll let you sample any products you'd like to try first.

Provided by YP.comthis guys doesn't know what they sell, I called for a specific product and the guy who answer me didn't know what I was talking about. I called later and another guy just told me," can you call back I have a customer". my question is am a customer too or what they must learn how to treat people.

Provided by YP.comOf all of the GNCs I've visited, this particular location is on a different level in terms of customer service.
Before my first visit, I called in to check GNCs store hours before I came in to make a purchase. The owner answered the phone sorry to tell me that he was closing in about five minutes--but that he was willing to wait for me to come by. Right off the bat here, this man's altruism and kindness was enough to make me a customer. I respectfully declined and stopped by the next day.
I explained my case to the storeowner--who, as mentioned in other reviews has been there every time I have (except Fridays)--he immediately led me in the right direction in terms of supplementing my diet and pre-workout supplements. Now keep in mind that he does not simply stand behind the counter as you look around, he looks WITH you and talks to you about different products (I've never seen this at a GNC before). I had come into the store with the intention of purchasing a amphetamine powder called Jack3d, which was available. I expressed my leanings toward the product, and the kind man agreed with me--reinforcing my decision rather than swaying me in a particular direction. He even offered to give me ten dollars off of the list price (which brings the price down to http://Bodybuilding.com levels).
On my next visit, the owner introduced a new product to me called Cellucor C4 Extreme, another pre-workout supplement with creatine nitrate in it--and was willing to give me a 60 serving tub at $29.99. Now if you are familiar with the price of pre-workout supplements you know this is a ridiculous deal. While I was at it I picked up a container of Jack3d for a buddy of mine, and the storeowner discounted that price as well. As he rang me up he gave me a free bodybuilding magazine.
Although business at this store may be slow--the generous owner will never let his customers down. By ordering the newest and best products on the market in large quantities, the owner is always prepared for the surge of business and traffic his store deserves. All of your fitness supplementation needs can be met at this particular GNC.

Provided by YPmobileShame on you GNC! Got a shaker and threw away the receipt, how much can go wrong with a shaker, right? Wrong, either the thread on the cup or on the lid was off so when I got home I barely opened it and could not twist the lid back on all the way... Tried forcing it, but it still leaked water I put into it to try. Today I took it back to the store in the Burbank mall in CA and to my surprise they did not want to exchange it without the receipt!!! The shaker was brand new with the manual and the wire ball still in plastic sealed!!! None of the stickers were touched it was literally brand new no different than the ones on the shelf!!! I asked the sales person to call his manager to ask for an exchange and the manager who doesn't give a damn about his customers refused to exchange it!!! The sales guy said he could do some type of an exchange, but I might have to pay a small difference, well the difference came to $5.50 when the item price was $8.99!! Is that ridiculous or what? I almost bought a new one! So at the end of the day I bought a broken shaker, did not use it brought it right back and had to pay for GNC's poor quality control in order to get something to work... To this point I have no idea why I had to pay for GNC to take their broken product back. Another bone to pick is the percentage, I had to pay 61% of the initial product price to have it exchanged, while the actual dollar difference was not worth fighting over with the manager, imagine applying this to large purchases. I can't believe GNC stepped down to this level, this is so cheap and simply ridiculous on the company's part. I feel sorry for the GNC employees as they will get a lot of crap from all the customers with policies like that before they switch to bodybuilding.com or other suppliers... Shame on you GNC!
