Sandra Narayanan, MD, is board-certified in neurology and vascular neurology, and CAST-certified in neuroendovascular surgery. She is a vascular neurologist and neurointerventional surgeon at Pacific Stroke & Neurovascular Center, Pacific Neuroscience Institute. She is director of the neurointerventional program and co-director of the stroke program at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. Skilled in a wide range of adult and pediatric diagnostic and neuroendovascular procedures, Dr. Narayanan is also experienced in prehospital and acute stroke diagnosis and management, telestroke assessments, and secondary stroke prevention. Dr. Narayanan's professional and research interests include stroke systems of care, cerebral venous sinus stenosis, quality improvement in neurointervention, radiation safety, and devices to treat hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke. She maintains a busy clinical practice and is passionate about medical education and mentoring.
