Great Beginnings of Sugar Hill has been privately-owned and operated by Patty Perdue and Jim Newton since 2004. Jim and Patty utilize their educational and professional coaching experience as well as small business ownership experience in the daily operations of our center. Unlike other facilities, you ll always find one of our owners on site to address any questions or address concerns that you or child might have. Only certified teachers, some with advanced degrees, make up our staff of more than 45 professionals. You ll find that 99% of our teachers are parents themselves. All teachers must be high school graduates, are CPR and First Aid Certified and receive 20 additional hours of early childhood education training each year (twice the State of Georgia requirement). Check out our beautiful new 2,000 square foot KIDSCLUB which features media room, library, and computer work stations.
