Martin Road Elementary School provides learning opportunities for students in grade three through six. The school has a staff of regular classroom teachers, learning specialists and instructional assistants that help in students development. Martin Road Elementary School imparts education in various subjects, including basic skills, math, science, social studies, reading, creative writing, and health and physical education. It has a library media center that provides learning experiences in reading, viewing and listening to nurture lifelong independent learners and responsible citizens. The school offers various student activities, such as field day, speech and language development, instrumental and choral music, field trips and book fair. Established in 2003, Martin Road Elementary School is a part of the Lackawanna City School District and is located in Lackawanna, N.Y.
