I went to visit a friend of mine who was there for rehab aftera long hospital stay. The front door to the place is broken so you have to use the side. I rang the bell for 15 min. no one answered. I finally got in and the smell hit me immediately. The place is like something out of a bad movie. Broken fixtures, broken windows, mold, dirty, patients left unattended and staff with a horrendous attitude. My friend had been there 5 days without a shower. They constantly screwed up his medication which he had to fight to receive. He personmally witnessed staff pocketing medication. My friend cried the entire time I was there while his in coherent roommate lay in a soiled diaper that was unfastened and there was feces all over the bed. This place should be shut down immediately. I am horrified, saddened and disgusted that some people have only a place like this to try and recover. Frankly, I think many patients probably leave there worse off then when they arrived.
