Habasit is the market leader in the printing and paper industry and also holds a leading position in the postal business (mail sorting). In 1968, Habasit opened its United States headquarters office in Atlanta, where it maintains a full inventory of Habasit products. Habasit's products manufactured in Buffalo, N.Y., like the TrackMate, PolyMate, UltiMate, Heatmate and Allveyor are available from inventory at the Buffalo fabrication facility. In 1999, Habasit Globe officially became part of Habasit Belting. Founded in 1946 in Reinach, Switzerland, Habasit's aim was to revolutionize the power transmission and conveyor industries by introducing the world's first fully synthetic belt.
