Founded in 1973, 10 Ellicott Square Court Corporation now goes by the name of Ellicott Development Company. Ellicott Development Company is a Buffalo, N.Y.-based real estate development company and property management firm that controls a portfolio of diverse investments in residential property and commercial real estate, primarily concentrated in the Buffalo-Niagara economy it calls home. Ellicott Development is the largest private landlord in downtown Buffalo, managing over 1.5 million square feet of office space in ten commercial office and mixed use buildings in the central business district, including the world-renowned Ellicott Square Building and Louis Sullivan s Guaranty Building, a national historic landmark. The company now maintains more than 250 apartments in Buffalo, and manages numerous commercial real estate properties throughout Buffalo, New York, Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania.
