I didn't get past the secretary. I called this office while doing research into getting help for a family member in need as they are not in the emotional or mental state to seek out the necessary help they need and want (they have expressed interest in counseling and have asked me to call offices for basic information since I work in this field). The secretary replied that an "adult should be capable" of calling on their own. A little more tact and A LOT more compassion is needed when dealing with people who do not know where to turn in the face of a crisis. Sometimes even "adults" need a little help during rough times in their lives and the secretary as the first line of communication between a therapist and a patient should be understanding of this.
