The biggest problem with Radnor House is the management running it. Mean to tenants, quick to fine, and unfriendly front office. How bad? The on-site manager needed a personal security guard to protect her for months because someone had threatened her life. And the place already has 24-hour security. The rest of the staff who work there are terrific.

An absolute dump run by management more concerned with gouging residents with exorbitant fines for violating their rules and regulations (a 57-page booklet of them!) than in making them feel comfortable and welcome. Allows cats and dogs (the latter on floors 1-3 only) but really isn't a pet-friendly building because of their ridiculous rules. Maintenance guys are very pleasant, but management doesn't want them talking with residents--poor management in itself. My particular apartment--and it's not the only one--has heat regulation problems. Walls are ridiculously thin, and outer walls are literally made of styrofoam with a thin plaster overlay. Don't buy or rent till you see the rules because they might affect your decision. Radnor House treats residents like children or criminals or both. There are prisons in the U.S. that are more lenient--and better built. I'm out as soon as my lease is up, and that day won't come fast enough!

I have seen this building. A friend of mine was looking at a condo for sale here. I was not at all impressed with the security. I am from Los Angeles, and the security was way, way, way over the top. This is, after all, Radnor- its not south Philly, or South LA-- The other thing I did not like is everything I have seen is badly outdated for the price they are asking. Simply, every unit I have seen looks like 1970's maybe mid 80's design- its way over priced for that look. In the unit we looked at to buy, it was a small 1 bedroom and the price was to much for what it was. The bathroom needed gutted totally and the walls were some weird Pink/tan color-I banged my head on the low handing light fixture in the dining room or what they call a dining area. Nothing attracts me to his building or anything I have seen in it. Radnor is not West Hollywood, Malibu or PCH-they need to get real at this place

STAY AWAY!!! Obnoxiously rude management; terrible parking; BAD experience. I lived their for a year while going to graduate school (although they forced me to swear in the contract that I was, in fact, in law school and not a lowly undergraduate). Having friends over to visit is an utter nightmare. The security guard is never there to buzz people in and they force visitors to wait outside in the cold until their host physically comes and signs them in. The apartment was decent - fairly big but the heating was broken from the first day and never repaired. And for some reason I kept finding dead bugs throughout the whole apt. I'm no expert, but every apartment I've ever lived in before was able to keep out the insect carcasses . If I could have left after a week I would have. But I had to stick it out for an entire year. Don't make the same mistake I did. Radnor House Condominiums is run by jerks and will never cease to underwhelm you with service.
