General Info

Chris Derbes, M.D. joined the practice in 2000. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas Austin and received a B.A. in Zoology with high honors. He attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston from 1989-1993, where he graduated with high honors and was elected AOA honor medical society. He then served his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Derbes stayed in the Texas Medical Center to complete his fellowship at the University of Texas- Houston /M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Gastroenterology Fellowship Program. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas, and is board certified in Gastroenterology.
