I was talked into having cardioquip service my heart-lung bypass machine at the hospital I work for in South Texas. They (Cardioquip) performed the service. Then I come to find out that the technician was not certified by the manufacturer to service the heart-lung bypass machine. Now I have to spend more money out of our tight budget to have a certified manufacturers field service representative, to come out and perform the proper service. Without the proper certification you may be left holding the bag if something happens in a clinical setting, beware.
