We have a second home in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and live there about three months out of the year. We inquired about a local landscaper to maintain our home year round. We were told Ahlswede was the best! We have been using their services for three years. Their employees have been very diligent and mindful. We are always pleasantly surprised when we come back to see how well maintained our yard looks. We give them our highest recommendation to anyone in need of landscaping services.
I hired them to take care of several issues with my home in Sturgeon Bay, WI. It took over 2 months to complete 1 indoor project. Once spring came, their were many other issues that they were going to fix. There was a contract and money exchanged hands. I kept calling to find out what status was. They kept telling me that because of late spring snow that they were delayed. All I wanted was a time frame that they would start. They could never give me an answer.
I finally asked why my job was less important than anyone else.
They sent my money back and walked away!
This left me in a very bad situation as there were urgent things to do.
Now we are in middle of summer and it's impossible to find contractor.
Do not use this company!
Sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately, this year was a challenge with the weather and with landscaping and outdoor projects, the weather dictates the time frame for completion. After 15 years in business, we have realized sometimes you can not please every customer and it is often better to part ways then to continue a business relationship that won't work. We hope you were able to find someone to complete your project, last we had spoken, you had someone that was lined up. Thank you!
