- Medical MalpracticeUpon graduation from law school, Mr. Lamothe assumed a position as In-House Counsel at Central Maine Power Co. While there, he practiced primarily in the areas of litigation (personal injury and workers’ compensation), contracts and employment law. In 1990 he left CMP to take a position as an associate at Friedman & Babcock in Portland, Maine. There he had primary responsibility for the firm’s new workers’ compensation practice. He also handled other cases in the firm ‘s diverse litigation practice, including personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, employment and other civil litigation.
