They have dropped to one maint. guy and had to have 3 show up at different times to still not resolve the problem. I had to fix it myself and since terminated anything to do with these hacks. Overpriced and terrible service. You like complaining about your bill everytime then don't use them. Your rich and could care less then they'll take your money all day long. Couldn't even correctly clean my furnace, rediculous!

I use Downeast because their technicians are excellent. Their hourly rate is for 2 technicians, which is great. Most places send 1 and if they don't know what their doing or take short cuts your furnace will most likely quit at the worst possible time. I personally have had 2 every-time. You get one don't blame me!!! Always here quick to resolve issues. They are not for a person who is cheap because they are expensive. Their oil costs are 10 cents higher than everyone else on average, I supplement with another cheaper company to off set this. I guess you have to pay for quality service, should be expected.

I had called to inquire about terminating service, picking up tanks, etc and asked if there was a charge to do so. I was told no. My fault for not getting that person's name! Today when I called to request the termination, I was told there is a $25 fee. I told the lady about the first call and she insisted there is a charge and was not about to have it any other way. (Poor) Last winter, even though they did not deliver one time due to poor driveway conditions and did not bother to inform me and I ran out of gas (poor), they were great about coming to hook me up late one night with a temp 100 gallon tank. (excellent)
