Mountain View Elementary School serves more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It provides educational opportunities for the development of academic, social and career skills. The school is home to one of the largest deaf and hard of hearing center school programs in Colorado. It offers tuition-based full- and half-day kindergarten programs. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, English, science, social studies, art, music, computers and physical education. In addition, it offers a tuition-based before- and after-school enrichment program, BASE, to meet the child care needs of families. The school provides a range of supplies to students, which includes glue sticks, color pencils, tissue boxes, pens, scissors, spiral notebooks, highlighters and sharpeners. Its parent-teacher organization conducts several fundraising events. Mountain View Elementary School is a part of Adams 12 Five Star Schools and is located in Broomfield, Colo.
