Ill start by saying the actual barn is beautiful; rustic and vintage decor really bring it to life. It is an open space overlooking lots of acres. It does sit on a working farm so that is something to remember; however, when we went to view the barn for our event the grass had not been cut in what seemed like weeks, there was trash in the entrance of the drive that had grass growing around it, and the last event had still not been cleaned up from four days prior. This is not what I want my guests to see when arriving at my event. The owner is unorganized. Multiple emails that she had replied to had suddenly "disappeared" and she had no recollection of anything we discussed prior to our visit. She showed up wearing very short shorts and a very low cut top which seemed very unprofessional for a business owner when convincing someone to hire her for their event. I was quite embarrassed because I had others with me to view as well. When hosting a $30,000 event I want to hire someone who is organized, professional, and clean and sadly this is not the impression I received. Although the barn has definite potential it seems the owners could be more responsible and cleaner when trying to earn business.
