Who is responsible for hiring these bus drivers?? On my daughters bus, boys sit on one side and girls sit on the other. Generally, this may be a good idea until what my daughter experienced today. She's been taking the bus every single day and at the same bus stop every day since the beginning of the year. You would think the bus driver would be familiar with who she is by now. She's also been sitting on the girls side of the bus since the beginning of the year as well. However, since my daughter got a short haircut this past weekend, she got on the bus this morning to take her usual seat on the girls side and the bus driver MADE HER MOVE TO THE BOYS SIDE! My daughter told her she was a girl, but the bus driver accused her of playing around and told her to move! THIS IS ABSURD!! From what I understand, there is also a boy on the bus with long hair who has been made to sit on the girls side of the bus because of his haircut. I will be calling in with a complaint tomorrow!

School buses speed through our neighborhood. After many complaints they still do nothing. Bus even almost hit the garbage truck. Still no change. 20 mile speed limit signs were put up by county and the school buses still race through. No one will do anything until something bad happens.

I've complained numerous times to move the bus stop away from my house and on to a corner street where it belongs. I have to pick up garbage and cigarette butts every day. Kids play football in my yard, have broken my mailbox and sit on my vehicles while waiting for the bus, while the parents just socialize and don't say a word. I've even called the sheriff about this and they are pretty much useless too. Very sad state of affairs!!

Transportation is no different than the other school personnel. Above reproach and approach, not available and will not return calls.

Witnessed bus # 487 almost hit the very students that just got off the bus on 2 seperate occasions! I dont have any children riding school busses, but this is dangerous and needs to be bought to someones attention..called transportation but was very disappointed with their response! Bus drivers need to be held accountable, before something terrible happens to someones child. Speed limit is 30mph on Lamson,there are no sidewalks for kids to walk on. This bus needs to SLOW DOWN and pay attention! Yesterday there was a group of kids crossing the street in front of bus at bus stop and the driver began to move forward,almost running these kids over,until she slammed on the brakes and realized what was happening! Witnessing this happen for the second time, made me contact your department,where my complaint was basically blown off..what a shame! Praying for the safety of the children...**wouldnt allow me to submit this without giving at least one star,undeserving of any stars**

They expect my 14 year old daughter to walk 2 miles down US 19 in a construction zone with no sidewalks in the dark to get to school. She would have to cross over 7 streets with no crosswalks or lights. You better believe I will be taking this to the board. There is no way I will allow her to walk.

The bus drivers are constantly yelling at the children and they have now moved my child bus stop from a completely safe park ,to a very dangerous intersection. I am not happy. and I know every other parent at the bus stop is not happy as well. They are too lazy to pull out if the park but they lied at first and said us parents complained about too many buses being in the park at once. There is never more than 1 bus in there an hour. Our childrens safety is more important then convenience.

Bus drivers are the best and the hardest workers. They have to put up with the children and parents alike.
