After earning his medical degree from Emory University he received additional training through a residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University, and a fellowship in Endocrinology at Emory University. He loves caring for the Lynchburg community because, "I love the city and its people. Lynchburg has been my home since 2004. I take great pride in providing the best care for my patients, improving their control of their diabetes or other endocrine problems, and improving their quality of life." When he is not providing care at the Heart and Vascular Institute, he likes to spend his time bicycling, golfing, playing the tuba, and spending time with family.

- EpilepsyDr. Bond built a cranial and spine practice and was responsible for the creation of the Regional One Incisionless Surgery Center. He returns to Virginia to spearhead a joint Centra/UVA collaboration and has appointments as a neurosurgeon at Centra Medical Group and Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia. In addition to general neurosurgery, Dr. Bond has special interest in complex and minimally-invasive spinal procedures, movement disorders and epilepsy.

- EndocrinologyThanks to your support, Eamon can get the specialty care he needs close to home. The Pediatric Specialty Center at Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital reopened in 2022 after a multiyear $250,000 renovation and expansion project. The center now houses six pediatric service lines: allergy, endocrinology, genetics, lactation, neurodevelopmental and pulmonary.
