General Info

Dr. Maryna Skliut is the Medical Director of the Stroke Program at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn and her Neurology residency training at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. She completed a fellowship in Stroke at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Skliut then joined Mount Sinai Beth Israel (formerly Beth Israel Medical Center) as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease. She became an expert in the treatment and prevention of stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, cerebral vasculitis, cerebral vasospasm, and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. She served as Neurology Residency Site Director at Mount Sinai from 2018 until 2023 and received three residency teaching awards.
