Founded in 1978, Maple Street School is a nonprofit, parent cooperative preschool that provides early education to children. It serves various children between the ages of two and five. The school is equipped with a kitchen, greenhouse, gross motor skills area and several classrooms. It offers programs in art, music and dance to develop concentration, reasoning and decision-making skills. Maple Street School also provides after-school programs in dance, Spanish, visual arts, languages and music. It features a library and organizes summer camps for children. The school additionally prepares children for kindergarten admissions. Maple Street School is located in Brooklyn, N.Y.
