Established in January of 2014, we make flavorful small batch ales, lagers, and brett beers five barrels at a time. Our aim is to make beer with respect and honor for the great brewing traditions of England, Belgium, and Germany, while embracing the creative spirit for which the U.S. craft beer movement is known and loved. The open kitchen in Greenpoint Beer and Ale offers seasonal European comfort cuisine in an industrial-feel cavernous tap room. Our dishes pay homage to the ethnic staples of Germany, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, and Greece. From 11-hour smoked brisket, crisp panko-breaded schnitzel, seared pablano and sweet onion tacos to hand-cut fries, house-made pickles, or cauliflower latke, there is something for everyone. We also have gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian plates and happily contour our menu to suit any dietary preference. We offer flexible catering options for any kind of event. The Chefs and Staff collaborate with guests on menu selections, timing, and presentation to ensure a flawless occasion. Happy Hour: Monday - Friday: 5pm - 7pm. $5 beers / $10 Shareplate + beer
