Mittal has been a pioneer in the Cardiovascular field of medicine for over 30 years. His practice is located in Brooklyn , New York where he has successfully treated thousands of patients. As a heart specialist, interventional cardiologist and vein specialist, Dr. Mittal cares for patients from all over the tri-state area. Dr. Niranjan Mittal was born and raised in India where he completed his Medical education and received his M.D. After moving to the East Coast, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York. Dr. Mittal continued to pursue a Cardiology Fellowship at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York. Dr. Mittal conducted four years of research, studying the Interaction of Theophylline and Digoxin at Brooklyn Hospital and Downstate Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiac CT, Varicose Vein Treatment and with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Mittal is affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY, Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and Wyckoff Heights Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Mittal now treats Cardiovascular patients and performs Interventional Cardiology procedures in his practice in Brooklyn, New York where he has been caring for patients for over 25 years.
