LICH is a great community hospital. We have always gotten friendly, quality care. So glad it's in our neighborhood!
If i could allot a zero rating, i would. This hospital houses some of the most self absorbed, egotistical physicians in the world. Apparently they have forgotten that a physician is hardly one without their patients. All is well as long as you nod and agree with every load of horse manure they shovel unto your platter. In time noone will want to be a patient here...and for that you can thank a systematic culture of RUDENESS and the physicians who enforces it!!

I must say that the service is horrible. The staff and most of the the security is rude. I was born in the this hospital and have been there on many occasions. I try my best not to go there but only go for convience.

THE ADMINISTRATION FOR THIS HOSPITAL IS horrible. THEY TREAT THERE EMPLOYEES UNFAIR. ESPECIALLY THERE SUPERVISORS THEY TERMINATE THEM WITHOUT CAUSE AND DONT EVEN FACE YOU TO DO IT.

maybe there were people in the back sicker than you , maybe they were saving someones' life...........let me tell you something, the staff at LICH is excellent, I am being treated there for cancer, I gave birth to my son there, and my two parents were treated there............go to a bigger NYC hospital, see if they care for you faster.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL TO ANYONE....... I SAT IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR OVER TWO HOURS, TREMBLING, DIZZY, ETC. AFTER 2 HOURS OF WAITING , I INQUIRED ABOUT SEEING A DOCTOR. THE TRIAGE PERSON LOOKED AT ME AND SAID "WHY ARE YOU STILL SITTING THERE? HELLO, I AM SITTING HERE WITH CHILLS, DIZZY AND ETC BECAUSE YOU FORGOT TO GIVE MY RECORDS TO ANOTHER STAFF MEMBER TO TAKE ME TO THE BACK? I WAS SEATED BY A STAFF MEMBER IN THE BACK. A NURSE COMES ALONG WITH A TRAY FULL OF INJECTIBLE MEDS LOOKS AT ME AND SAYS A NAME GOES TO THE TRAY, I TELL HER THAT'S NOT ME, GIVE HER MY NAME AND SHE TELLS ME I'm IN THE WRONG AREA, WHY AM I THERE? A STAFF MEMBER TOLD ME TO SIT HERE I RESPOND. SHE TELLS ME TO GO TO THE NURSE'S STATION........WELL LET'S JUST SAY I WAS TRYING TO GET TO SEE A DOCTOR, SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR OR DIRECTOR (NO ONE SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT) THREE HOURS HAD PASSED. I DECIDED TO LEAVE SHIVERING AND DIZZY. I WENT HOME. I'LL GO TO A HOSP IN MANHATTAN.
