PAREXEL Clinical Pharmacology Research Unit is a part of the PAREXEL International Corporation. It is a 50-plus-bed facility located on a more than 20,000-square-foot area. It conducts research on several areas, including first-in-man, drug interaction, single and multiple dose, cardiac safety, anti-cytokine therapies and recombinant vaccine studies. The clinic offers a full spectrum of clinical pharmacology research services; performs Phase I/IIa clinical studies; and provides data management, biostatistics, pharmacokinetic analysis and medical writing services. It specializes in meeting the needs of clients who require demanding studies involving complex procedures and monitoring techniques. PAREXEL Clinical Pharmacology Research Unit is located in Baltimore. Its clinical staff includes full-time physicians, emergency medical technicians, project nurses and research assistants.
