ADVANCE is an organization that offers support services to those suffering from developmental disabilities. Located in Brookings, S.D., the organization supports more than 115 people with disabilities, such as mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism, sensory impairments and congenital disabilities. It also assists those who have met with accidents, traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries and who suffer from diseases such as polio or muscular dystrophy. Additionally, ADVANCE provides patients with residential services, including assistance in daily activities, such as grocery shopping, preparing healthy meals, managing finances and more.
