General Info
Welcome! Burleigh Road Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Edward Braun in 1954. He opened the hospital in 1955 and operated the practice for nearly 40 years before he passed the business to his associate, Dr. Thomas Christie in 1992. Dr. Christie took over ownership of the practice and Dr. Braun continued as an associate veterinarian until December 2001. Dr. Christie directed the hospital for 10 successful years until he left in 2002 to pursue a career in real estate with his wife, Sharon. Now Laurie McCabe, DVM owns and manages the practice with the same integrity as her predecessors. While retaining its original charm, our hospital is constantly growing and evolving to keep up with the dynamic science and art of veterinary medicine.

Provided by YP.comMy family dog is now MISSING, as a result of our Sheltie somehow escaping from the leash and collar that they gave him while taking him for a walk with another dog. Since they don't keep the original collars and name tags on the dogs while they are boarding them, he is lost without any identification and at the fault of this facility. Please be cautious in choosing this place. They are located directly off of a road and do not have a fence to ensure that all dogs on the property will be kept safe. This is absolutely heartbreaking for our family and is a mistake that never should have been made. The staff's reaction has been fine but very nonchalant, simply saying the dog should return in a few days. They have also been very vague regarding exactly how our dog actually got away. This is extremely serious - Please think twice about this place.

Provided by YP.comI have found everyone at Burliegh Road Animal Hospital to be very caring and friendly--from the Vets, office staff, boarders and groomers. My cockerpoo "Buddy" is very happy to see all his friends there when he goes for health related visits or for vacation boarding or grooming. It is a relief to know they care, and to not have to worry about your pet when you are away. I give Burleigh Road Animal Hospital the highest recommendation.
