General Info
Our names are Ray and Kathy Koch and we have operated the gravel pit since 1995 under the name of Ray Koch's Gravel and changed it in 2003 to Ray's Gravel LLC. Ray's Gravel LLC delivers aggregate products to commercial and residential projects in Kanabec and Pine Counties. We are open in spring when road restrictions are lifted, until freeze up in November. When visiting our pit, please wear your hard hat when getting out of the truck and follow all safety signs posted. Our employees are safety trained annually by MSHA teachers. They also have first aid and CPR training every three years. We also raise cattle and horses and do a little haying to get them through the winter months. We look forward to meeting new customers and seeing our customers who have been with us for many years. To figure out how much gravel you need for a project, multiply the length and width times each other then divide by 27. This will give you the estimated amount in cubic yards. To figure out the number of yards from tons for class 5, divide by 1.4 and for small crushed rock divide by 1.5.Please check out our products and services.
