Operational for more than 20 years, The Hebrew Home at Riverdale is an assisted living and Alzheimer's disease care center. A nonprofit organization, The Hebrew Home offers a wide variety of services, including outpatient and trauma center, home care, specialized programs for cancer, diabetes, heart attack and strokes, and rehabilitative services. Located in Riverdale, N.Y., the center also offers fitness centers, commercial Health Maintenance Organization health plans, and medical services for Alzheimer's disease, memory disorders and dementia-related illnesses. Additionally, it provides grief support for children, cardiac rehabilitation services, cancer care, diabetes education program, diagnostics, occupational medicine, pain management, pulmonary rehabilitation, and preventive heart scan services. The center s volunteer money management services include bill organization, check writing, statement balancing and financial paperwork. The center offer various specialized services, such as home repairs, yard work, gutter cleaning, electrical and plumbing solutions, carpentry, personal care, nutrition counseling, respite and adult day care, transportation, and nursing facilities.
