Incorporated in 1978, SEBCO Development is a real estate company that deals in low- and moderate-income residential multifamily, senior citizen housing and commercial properties in New York. It works with urban planners and elected officials to develop schools, recreational facilities and local infrastructure. The company also sponsors and develops numerous projects for affordable housing. SEBCO Development is responsible for the development and construction of more than 3,000 new and rehabilitated housing units. It additionally provides several social services to over 1,500 families that include counseling, computer classes, job placement, after-school programs, adult and youth support groups, family weekend retreats, summer day camps, arts and crafts and outside referrals. The company works in collaboration with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and New York City Housing Authority.
