Based in Bronx, N.Y., Life Adjustment Center is a registered nonprofit charitable organization offering services for the individuals suffering from mental and developmental impairment. It addresses these problems by providing a wide range of products and services. The organization coordinates various services in the areas of habilitation, training and recreation. It offers its services through a staff consisting of counselors, physician, nurse practitioner, nurses, physical and occupational therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, neurologist, speech pathologist and dietician. It enhances each residents' ability to care for themselves and achieve their life s requirements on their own. The center s services are available for 24 hours and seven days a week. It also provides its services to its consumers at their own homes. In addition, Life Adjustment Center accepts online donations.
