A hidden gem in the Bronx. In the three years that my daughter has attended Bronx Dance Theater, she has performed on stage for the annual Christmas and Summer shows in front of hundreds of people. She has participated in dance intensives with world renowned artist. Just this July, Bronx Dance Theater sponsored my daughter to attend a week long Ballet intensive in Las Vegas. Additionally, the school has given her the opportunity to compete regionally against other dance schools with their Dance Competion Team. Other students have been able to audition and have been accepted to schools such Profesional Performing Arts School, La Guardia High School, and School of American Ballet. The staff genuinely enjoys the students and create a sense of family within the school culture. The loving interactions with the staff has created a sense of trust that allows my daughter to take risks and allows her to grow as a dancer. Bronx Dance Theater is frankly the Bronx's best kept secret.

this place is trash and full if theives & the women at the front desk are very nasty. full of bitches. a dancer stole my i phone 5 and the receptionist had a attitude for everything. dont wastr your money on this crap. there are other dance studios who work better than them.

BDT is a great place! My daughter studied there ,starting at age 3! She has received not only professional training, but lifetime friends and a "studio" family " that loves her and watches out for her in every way. She just started her Freshman year at Professional Performing Arts High School and we are all very proud.Any school can train kids to like dance,BUT BDT trains kids that can go out in the world and become professional dancers!!
