At Covenant Roofing, we realize that most people have never purchased a roof and therefore, may not understand the information they receive from their insurance company. We are experts in dealing with your insurance company. We want to be sure you are compensated for any damage covered under your policy. In dealing with insurance companies, we believe them when they say, "If we owe it, we are going to pay for it." We are eager to meet with your adjuster, if you wish. Most adjusters are thorough, however, some who are not based in Oklahoma, may be unaware of our city codes. If items of importance are omitted from your insurance adjustment, we will bring it to their attention because it may make a difference whether or not the shingle manufacturer honors their warranty on your home. For example, there is strict code enforcement on the decking, the wood surface just under the shingle, and on ventilation, you must have adequate ventilation or you may void your warranty. You need to install drip edge to protect your shingle mold, a small decorative piece of wood, and drip edge also prevents the capillary effect of water entering your roof.
