Bristol Youth Services is a community-based, social services agency that operates under the government of the city of Bristol, Conn. The department provides case management, outreach support and crisis intervention services. It offers individual and family counseling services. The department also provides crisis management, coordination and referral services. Bristol Youth Services offers community development services, such as needs assessment, program development, technical assistance and planning. In addition, the department provides educational, mental health care and individual protection services for youths. It offers skill development, referral and transportation services. The department administers the Cove program, which includes support and guidance services for children who have experienced a death in the family. Bristol Youth Services additionally provides employment-related services, such as job search assistance and vocational training.
