- Do you want to feel safer? Personal Defense Connection (PDC) can help. Whether you're a Business Owner, a Criminal Justice Agency/Agent, someone who wants to obtain your MI CPL License or someone who simply wants to feel safer in your home or community, Personal Defense Connection has a class for you. We offer training in Self Defense (not martial arts), Firearms, Business Security and PPCT (Instructor Training is also available for all PPCT Courses). Our innovative Simply Safer Self Defense series does not involve martial arts. We teach practical, proven and effective skills designed for real life dangerous situations. The classes are for men and women of all shapes, sizes, fitness levels and ages (16 and over) and are are taught in a friendly and considerate atmosphere. There is no "grappling" or floor work. Our firearm courses include NRA classes: Personal Protection inside the Home (MI CPL), Personal Protection Outside the Home and others; as well as our own Simply Safer Defensive Handgun class. General Info
Every person has the right to protect themselves, to defend their family and to defend others from personal attacks. But do you have the skills? Not only is it necessary to know how to physically defend yourself, it is also equally important to be mentally and emotionally prepared. Dave Pike, owner of PDC, has developed a series of classes that will teach you practical, proven and effective self defense techniques. You will learn how to recognize and avoid danger as well as how to physically protect yourself, all in a friendly and considerate atmosphere. Research has proven that, without proper training, your ability to defend yourself decreases when your body goes into the 'fight or flight' mode during a threatening situation. PDC will not only teach you effective techniques, but will also increase your confidence in your ability to effectively handle the situation. You will learn how to be mentally, emotionally and physically prepared to defend yourself. Our Personal Defense classes are perfect for College Students, Real Estate Agents, Teachers, and anyone who uses a deserted parking lot or other potentially unsafe area. Our Business Safety and Security Classes are great for Churches, Non-Profit and Profit organizations. Our Firearms Training Courses will help you learn to shoot and/or increase your accuracy.
