I have thought long and hard about whether or not to post this review. Unfortunately the salon owner actually backed out on the full refund that she promised me, so I guess that makes the decision pretty easy and clearly demonstrates their lack of both ethics and customer service. The salon owner, Christina, was the one that was doing my hair (cut and color). The last two colors she has done for me I have noticed mismatched roots and oversaturated “muddy” dark ends. Because I really liked Christina and her location was convenient to my house, I decided to give her another shot. This time I went in with waist length hair and bravely asked for a short haircut. I took in several “inspiration” photos of Mandy Moore and showed them to Christina. I stated the caveat that if she didn’t think my face shape supported this cut or if she couldn’t do it, then we could pass on it. She was confident that it suited me and that she could deliver something I liked. I was also having gray roots touched up at the same time. Fast forward to color sitting on my hair for over 40 minutes and Christina 100% murdering my hair. She cut it at least 5” too short to produce the style I requested. What that translates to is that I will now have to grow it out for well over a year just to get near what I asked her for to begin with. Most of my hair is now 2-3” from my scalp, with the exception of a few pieces left long in the bangs that are 4”…think Shailene Woodley’s haircut from The Fault In Our Stars, only worse, only shorter. Let me reiterate that I went in with WAIST length brown hair and she completely destroyed it, both cut and color. I ended up with orange “hot roots” and the growth of my hair saturated to black because she left the color on too long. It is truly the most horrid and embarrassing haircut and color that I have ever had in my entire life. I am not going to spend a lot of time on this review, because frankly these idiots aren’t worth my time. My message is simple; if you want to pay outrageous prices for truly amateur work, go to A Nu Do. If you want to look like a cheetah, go to to A Nu Do. if you want to get told that your lack of styling ability is the reason for your horrible haircut (rather than their terrible technique), go to A Nu Do. If you want to pay professional prices and get a legitimate hairstyle and color, then for the love of god give your money to a real professional in Denver or Cherry Creek. Trust me, it’s just not worth the hassle these clowns will give you. It’s not hard to find bad reviews about A Nu Do, and trust me some of them are quite comical (check Yellow Pages, Google Reviews and Demand Force if you don't believe me). Sadly I now know they are all true. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Some “best” salons in Denver: Matthew Morris, Clementine’s, Thompson & Co, Babooshka.

*if you want to see my before and after photos, they are posted on my yelp review for A Nu Do's page*

Terrible

I have never experienced such awful customer service. I was referred here by a friend who gets their hair done here for their tanning beds. They offered a student specific price that seemed very reasonable. Upon my first visit, the owner walked through setting me up and put me in their second level bed. I used this bed up until my fourth visit, in which they told me I could only use the level one bed. I was surprised and explained that the owner had put me in the other bed. They told me they didn't care and proceeded to inform me that I had to pay an additional 3 dollars per day per level bed I went up. So really, their "student special" really just made me spend more. The girls there could not have been more rude. Not to mention the fact that they told the owner I was a disturbance and rude to them, after I tried to be extremely understanding and calm. I would never recommend A Nu Do to anyone I know. In fact, I would encourage anyone and everyone to steer clear of this place.

Worst cut color and highlight EVER

So i came here because my regular salon was really busy and my roots had grown out really bad. I have many highlights of blond and some brown. I had a girl do my hair named krista. I told my hair fades out fast with brown so go dark..... she did the opposite. I told her i wanted some blonder highlights. So she did that but forgot toner so they are orange! The brown highlights got mixed up in the blond because she didn't use enough foil and so i have hairs with half orange and bronze. I asked for my roots to be done and she did the highlights in a different pattern as they were before so it looks like my roots are still grown out. Also when doing the highlights she missed a hole inch so they would look even more grown out so id have to come back sooner. Please do not come here unless they give you a good stylist. The salon was nice but they gave a new client one of the worst experiences ever and i will never return. Now i have to pay even more money to get this mess fixed. I payed 100$ for someone to ruin my hair. Now i have to dye it all brown.

After thinking long and hard a...

After thinking long and hard about it, I decided to finally write a review about this salon. I originally came to Yellow Pages.Com looking for a good salon, and after seeing the two 5 Star reviews (which, by the way, were written BY THE OWNER FOR HERSELF), I chose this place. A huge mistake!! I got my hair done there about 12 weeks ago by Kristina Diaz, the owner, and it was traumatizing to say the least. It has just now reached a length that I can style! :-( The haircut wasn't even what I asked for, it was what she FELT like doing. She thought (based on her education) that she knew what would look best, and disregarded my requests. But I tried trusting her, much to my dismay. Next she did color, and I guess if I had wanted to look like a Cheetah, I would have been in the right place, but, again, that's not the look I was after. If it wasn't for her arrogance and inability to listen to her clients, I may have had a very different experience from this salon. But, then again, maybe not, because aside from the horrible hair skills, her creepy father would not stop flirting with me! If I could give this place a negative 5 star rating, I would.

Brow waxing

I had the BEST brow shaping ever. She actually took the time to shape my eyebrow's to my bone structure. I recommend EVERYONE goes to see her! YOU WILL LOVE IT!
