Today, 5-4-14, I went to the Planet Fitness Center at the mall and was greeted by two very rude and unhelpful young men. I told them that I was new and had never been there before. They offered no assistance in showing me around or introducing me to the facility. After a brief silence, I asked them how much it was a month and opted for the 20 dollar a month option. I gave them a credit card and they said that although they could take it, I would have to pay by check and it would have to be taken out of my checking account monthly electronically.....I do not believe in this method of payment because of the possibility of being hacked...it is not as safe as a credit card and you will usually loose much more money if it is removed by unauthorized hackers or unscrupulous businesses...I asked if I could just pay it by credit card in any way possible and they said no. The way that they treated me was like they thought I couldn't afford it.....I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
