Pendant can be worn around neck, wrist or on the hip. When the pendant button is pressed the monitoring center talks to you through the actual pendant....NOT a unit base station placed somewhere in the home. The device works up to 600 ft from the home enabling the user to be outside the home and still be able to get help.
