My husband decided to stop by and check out the clams....OMG!!! I don't know what they soak them in, but by far the best steamers I've had. A buttery taste when I steamed them and no sand. Clams casino were fantastic too!!! We'll definitely be back as we only live 10 minutes away.

This place is the best in Ocean County!!!!! Fresh everything all the time. They also are willing to cook just about any of the fish for you. You can order your Lobsters precooked, you can order your shrimp cooked and peeled for a minimal additional fee. They have a great assortment of smoked fish and of fresh clams. Best seafood market around bar none. Fresh fish, crabs, clams, oysters. My favorite is the Bee Gee brand white shrimp from Guyana! Sweet and delicious! Great take out prepared foods as well. I love the fresh soft shell crab sandwiches in season!

i live local and eat this places food all year round. its a shame what happens in the summer when all the bennies come from the city but at least it keeps them open for the winter. all foods served are great at the crabshack!!!!!!!!
